A Case of Entrapment Neuropathy Treated by Bee Venom Acupuncture at Median Nerve and Ulnar Nerve

Abstract

|
Objective : This study was designed to evaluate the effect of traditional Korean medicine on the entrapment neuropathy patient.
Methods : The patient in this case was 83-years-old. The chief complains were pain, numbness, dull senses and ROM limitation at both wrist and fingers. She was treated by bee venom acupuncture and other traditional Korean medicine. VAS, ROM, physical exams were used for the evaluation of the clinical effect.
Result : After the treatments, the chief complains. VAS, ROM and physical exams were getting better.
Conclusion : This clinical case indicates that bee venom acupuncture and other traditional Korean medicine are effective in treatment of the entrapment neuropathy oatient.
